Volunteering Information and Opportunities

Action and service have always been shared values of the IB community.

Students take action when they apply what they are learning in the classroom and beyond. IB learners strive to be caring members of the community who demonstrate a commitment to service—making a positive difference to the lives of others and to the environment.  To this end, SRMS has volunteer requirements for both our students and parents.  The hour requirements are:

6th grade--10 hours

7th grade--15 hours

8th grade--20 hours

Parents--total of 10 hours whether you have 1 or 3 children in the program.

Where do I log my volunteer hours?

NEW THIS YEAR:  To make things easier when logging volunteer hours, we have changed to a different site.  Please click here to log your hours. Download Please click here to log your hours.

When logging your hours.  Everything is in half hours, so if you volunteer for 1 hour and 5 minutes, log it as 1 hour.  If you volunteer 1 hour and 16 minutes, log it as 1.5 hours.  Please use the HONOR SYSTEM.
