Logging Volunteer Hours

1. click signup for account

2. email is necessary

3. password--any password you like there aren't any special requirements

4. In Last name--Put your child's Last Name Parent First Name

example: child's name is Bobby Jones:  JonesParent Bobby

               child's name is Mary Smith:  SmithParent Mary

5. In First Name: place your (the parent's) first name

6. Phone number is not necessary.

7. Begin logging your hours.  Everything is in half hours, so if you volunteer for 1 hour and 5 minutes, log it as 1 hour.  If you volunteer 1 hour and 16 minutes, log it as 1.5 hours.  Please use the HONOR SYSTEM.

Student Sign Up Instructions

1. click signup for account

2. email is necessary--use your private account or your school district email account which is usually firstname.lastname@sdirc.org  example: bobby.smith@sdirc.org

3. password--any password you like there aren't any special requirements. We strongly suggest your password be your school ID number and Uppercase first initial, lowercase last name initial. Just like your normal school login password!

4. In First name--Type your first name and grade level (6th, 7th, or 8th)

5. In Last Name: Type your last name

6. Phone number is not necessary.

7. Begin logging your hours.  Choose your grade level and student in the drop-down menus when logging your hours.  Everything is in half hours, so if you volunteer for 1 hour and 5 minutes, log it as 1 hour.  If you volunteer 1 hour and 16 minutes, log it as 1.5 hours.  Please use the HONOR SYSTEM.
