PLEASE NOTE THE PRINT BED AND FILAMENT CAN BE HOT RIGHT AFTER PRINTING! HANDLE WITH CAUTION WHEN REMOVING PRINTS FROM THE PRINT SURFACE!!

 

 

1. Log-in to mystemkits.com using the provided Teacher Log in Information: teacher@indianriverschools.org  pass: IndianRiver

2. On the Global Navigation Bar, click Browse Kits.

3. You can use the filters to help you narrow down your search for a kit or lesson. Once you find the kit you would like to print, click "View Kit."

4. In the upper right hand corner of the browser, you will see a lock or an unlock button. If the kit is locked, you will need to click the "Locked" button and then the "Unlock" button to unlock the kit to be able to print it.

5. Next, choose either the set or individual item you would like tp print from the kit and click the "Print" button.

6. Click the "Print" button.

7. Select the 3D Printer. Make sure that you are selecting the correct printer. Check that the name on the printer matches the name you've selected to print to. *Note: You MUST have MyStemKits chosen to be able to print from MyStemKits. We have set it as already on when the printer was being prepped for you, if you do not see the printer, follow the directions here to turn on MyStemKits to be able to print.*

8. Once you have selected the printer, it will load the build onto the build tray. You can click "Next" to print as is, OR you can scale the item down. To scale an item down, select "Scale," adjust the sizing scale and hit enter on your keyboard. Then click "On Bed" THIS IS IMPORTANT WHEN SCALING!! IF YOU DO NOT CLICK ON BED WHEN SCALING AN ITEM IT WILL NOT PRINT!! Click "Next" when you are ready to print.

9. Click "Next" on the Print Settings page. This will then go into the Prepare Build phase, then the Printing phase. If at any point you need to cancel the build, you are able to do so and it will give you a Cancel Print option on the screen.

**If AT ANY POINT a build does not load in or print correctly, please send in a Zendesk Ticket so Erika Fischer or Lisa Presti can know to problem solve the issue.
