Chromebook Hard Reset

If your Chromebook has a black screen, or just seems to be running slow, it may need a reset.

First, exit out of everything. 

On your Chromebook's keyboard, press and hold the Refresh and tap Power .

• • The power button for the 2-in-1 Chromebooks is on the left side.

When your Chromebook starts up, release the Refresh .

Log in and everything should be working better!

**Note** If this doesn't work the first time, try it while the Chromebook is plugged in.
