Printing from RoboCloud
PLEASE NOTE THE PRINT BED AND FILAMENT CAN BE HOT RIGHT AFTER PRINTING! HANDLE WITH CAUTION WHEN REMOVING PRINTS FROM THE PRINT SURFACE!!
1. Go to cloud.robo3d.com Links to an external site. and log in using the email: teacher@indianriverschools.org with the password: IndianRiver.
2. On the homepage, make sure you see the printer you have checked out with a green dot saying Idle. If the dot is red or it is not showing, please follow the steps above to ensure that the printer is connected to RoboCloud. Then click "My Model."
3. Select the model you would like to print by double clicking the model. If you do not see your model, make sure it is uploaded by following the instructions here.
4. Click "Print" to print the model.
5. CHECK THE PRINTER NAME PRIOR TO PRINTING!!!! You MUST check the printer name prior to clicking print!! This is a crucial step. We have 2 printers on this account. If you select the wrong printer, you will cancel someone else's print and you will not have your print. If the incorrect printer is chosen, click the drop down arrow and switch printers. The printer name can be found on the printer above the digital screen.
6. Adjust any print settings that you would like. I do suggest scaling the print down if it looks a tad large (like the example photo above). The larger an item is, and the more infill (the amount of filament inside the object) it has, the longer the print will take for the print to complete. When you are ready to print, click the "Print" button to slice the image and send it to the printer.
7. When you are ready to print, double check that you have the correct printer selected then click "Start." Your print will start printing on the printer. Note that the Time Remaining/Total Print Time are estimates and your print may take longer than listed.
8. Check on your print every so often to ensure that it is printing correctly. If you notice that the print has malfunctioned in some way, click "Cancel" on the computer to cancel the print and remove the filament from the print bed.
9. Once your print has finished you will be able to remove it from the print bed and print the next item.
